FR. ALEXANDER VARICKAMACKAL SJ
Fr. Alexander Varickamackal is an Indian Jesuit from the State of Kerala who is currently stationed in the city of Shimonoseki in Japan. He joined the Society of Jesus on August 14, 1977, and was ordained a priest on August 8, 1992. He now works at the Hosoe Parish Church in Shimonoseki, and is actively involved in the apostolate for youth and for inter-religious dialogue. He occasionally gives lessons in Yoga and is in close contact with Buddhist monks belonging to the Zen school.
